Ventimiglia is a city and comune in Liguria, northern Italy, in the province of Imperia. It is located 130 km (81 mi) southwest of Genoa by rail, and 7 km from the French-Italian border, on the Gulf of Genoa, having a small harbour at the mouth of the Roia River, which divides the town into two parts. Ventimiglia's urban area has a population of 55,000.

I like this composition. Quite a symmetry you have got here with the way these windows are open and the morning light also seems to be adding to the magic. Well framed.

Hi Jason,
Typical shutters, but I remember many years ago we had those shutters in Israel urban sceneries.
Fine taken this picture, with the shadows painting on wall's, in a pleasent tone.

its a unique photo of a common subject - or at least in europe its a common subject, here in North America we tend not to have window shutters like this :)
excellent light and shadow play.
and i really like that added IN the rust color rooftop for additional color contrast and interest.

Hi Jason,
I hope its not just me, but I can easily see these windows having been captured while they were singing, like in the Muppets the way random things would suddenly become mouths. The soft light and contrasting shadow is cool too, creates a very unique capture!
