Hello Frank,
The building on the left provides a useful frame and has the benefit of directing the viewer's attention towards the main subject. The image has a pleasing overall tonal palette and good sharpness.

PS My pictures were taken last Sunday before the volcanic eruption.

Hello Frank,

A surpassing and superb shot of the structure that has seen so much history. I think of what has transpired since this beautiful edifice was built, and what it replace. The depth of field, the colors and the resolution are exquisite.

Hello Frank, Beautiful palatial manor. You must have a thousand castles in Deutschland. Everyone posts castles and they are all different. This looks well maintained with typische Ordnung one finds in the German makeup. Very nicely done. TY again for seeing my Kirchen blooper. Have a good weekend. Roger

schade, dass wieder einer rausge.. wird. Ich habe solches Machtgehabe auch schon in einem anderen Foto-Forum erlebt, leider scheint es überall gleich zu sein. "Wir haben unsere TOS und davon weichen wir kein my ab" Punkt. Aber wir sehen uns auf photofolia.

Hallo Frank,
This fine shot of the beautiful baroque Castle Wöbbel together with its note is a good example of your excellent TE contributions, which we will be missing now, if you will not change your decision of leaving.
A perfect POV, a pleasant balanced composition, good natural colours, good depth and sharpness and last but not least the photo transmits a mostly cloudy early spring day in an attractive way.
A hope that you will return one day.

Sad, Frank, that you abandon Trek Earth. But I understand you completely. You have learned a lot here and you have contributed even more. Your notes have always been first class and providing very interesting facts about your the subjects of your photos. Comments from you had a lot of meaning to many people here.
I will never forget you were the first to welcome me to TE, minutes after I posted my first picture.
Great loss for TE, what a shame.
But your friends will remain your friends.

Your photograph as all your photographs is of a great interest and very a good quality. I regret your departure and hopes to see you returning on TE. It reigns on TE, because of some too dedicated people, too intolerant and limited a deleterious climate, where a mood of détente and shared pleasure should reign, it is madness. I'm shocked to see you are leaving TE after all these years..!!
Hopefully you will reconsider at a later time when things calm down a bit, for who else shall give us the historical buildings and scenes from times gone by in Germany?
Like this one, perfectly reproduced in a balanced and attractive composition!

Hallo Frank. Dein Photo steht nun schon einige Zeit auf TE. Es ist informativ wie immer.
Nach meiner Rückkehr aus Usbekistan sah ich, dass es irgendein Problem für Dich gibt. Obwohl ich einige Äußerungen von TE-Membern las und auch den Text in Deinem Intro, bin ich immer noch nicht schlauer geworden. So oder so hoffe ich, dass Du Dich vielleicht doch mit den TE-Moderatoren arrangieren kannst. Es wäre sehr schade, wenn wir alle auf Deine Beiträge verzichten müßten. Gruß, Wolfgang.

Das allerbeste Wetter hattest du bei diesem Schuss sicher nicht, aber du hast das beste daraus gemacht. Vielleicht hätte ich den Vordergrund etwas kleiner gehalten, aber das Kopfsteinmuster ist ganz nett, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass der Himmel mehr weiss als blau war. Gutes Lichtmanagement and feine Pasteltöne. Guter Photojob. Danke für die Kritik meiner Monsunwolkenberge.

I read your "new" profile. It's sad . But i understand. From times to times i come on trek and encounter the same problèms...
The difference between french and german castle is that german castles look more like places to live in with his ( big) family.
Nice pictures and colors.
