Photo taken from window of Swiss International Airlines AVRO RJ 85/100 airplane few minutes before touch down at Marco Polo International Airport in Venice, Italy-last month.
What you can see in this photo is a colorful wetlands area with many small winding water channels.

Les photos avec des ailes d'avion sont rarement intιressantes mais celle-ci fait la diffιrence. L'ombre de l'avion est spectaculaire et est trθs bien placιe dans la composition. Les formes gιomιtriques au sol prιsentent des couleurs superbes et des motifs artistiques. C'est trθs rιussi.

Very ,very interesting Miro,Ive not seen so many aireal photos form the wetlands around Venice,it looks very remote and colorful!
The shadow of the plane is very warm welcome to your picture not bad indeed from a plane window!

At a glane I noticed this view for a tropical area, but I agree this is from Italy. Very very intersting shot. I am very happay for you to give an opportunity to get a vertial flight. What a magnificent stretch of landscape, unmistakably from the Veneto. The little plan in the FG corner puts it all in perspective. Beautiful textures and graphism in the landscape, wonderfully captured by you - not an easy shot to make at all.

Hello miro,
The weland and the curve of a rivers/creeks is clearly shown from the air, form a nice pattern only can be seen from aloft.
Secondly, never did i fly with this type of passenger jet, always looks intriguing to me, and only recognized this by the shade well taken over the ground.
Good view with DOF over the east Po valley, near Venezia.
