Photographer's Note
Galata Tower is a 650 year old, 67 meter tall stone tower. Built by Genoese colony as the tower of fortifications around Galata, but eventually used as fire lookout tower during Ottoman Empire.
Kuledibi is the name associated with the streets catching the shadow of Galata Tower. “Under the Tower” it’s possible to find a number of other places to eat.Directly around the corner is a hole-in-the-wall kebab shop and across from here a man squeezes a glass of fresh orange and pomegranate juice for next to nothing.

What an incredible effect with the people and shadows. They look rather like ghosts. Like the heavy contrast and the dynamic tilt having the round garden in the corner.

Hi Isabela,
This very contrasty post-processing wouldn't be interesting in all sorts of subjects, but with an architecture shot, I like it a lot. This photo have a timeless quality.
The focus is on the market light, because it's the brightest spot in the image. It glows like a lighthouse in the middle of this shot.
Cleverly placed round "park" at the bottom right, and use the circle to anchore the composition.

I like the lighting in this shot especially with it being b\w. There is also texture in it which makes it look like a detailed pencil drawing, awesome.
