Photographer's Note
One of the most beautiful rock cut churches in Cappadocia, a real "trademark" of this magnificent region, this cap shaped rock is known by the strange name "El Nazar".
Some info about this impressive church from ***cappadociatraveltours.com***:
"El Nazar Church is situated in the El Nazar valley, about 800m to te right from the road to the Goreme Open air museum. This church was carved from one piece of rock in a T shape. It is cruciform with three apses, the main apse opening up in the center where the barrel vaulted arms of the crucigorm meet. The floor has been completely destroed, as has part of the apse. The frescoes show scenes which follow each other in chronological order. This church can be dated to the end of the 10th century.
Scenes: Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Adoration of the Magi, Flight into Egypt, Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, Pursuit of Elizabeth, Baptism, Raising of Lazarus, Transfiguration, Entry into Jerusalem, Crucifixion, Anastasis, Ascension, and portraits of the saints."

Hello Hercules
A great combination of orange tones and blue.
Very attractive picture.
You've done a great use of the stairs, and put them in the corner is a good idea, like an invitation to clim them !
The fine quality reveals the texture, and the marvelous light enhances the colours. Compliments.

Merhaba Giritli, the colours, sharpness and use of light is more than excellent! The contrast of the rock-cut church against the blue sky looks impressive. It has even a window at the top. I really admire the simple way of living of ancient people. Best regards from Ankara, Tolga

Hercules,
This is a great shot of this odd church. Your composition is fine using the stairs to create a diagonal into the shot. The contrast created by the orange colored rock and the deep blue sky is great. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has fine sharpness.

Bonjour Hercules

Hi Hercules,
This is so cute and pretty.
I like it very much. The subject is very interesting and the quality of shot makes it I believe even more attractive. I like especially the contrast of well saturated blue and orange colors. The shape of the church fills perfectly the frame with its unique shape.
Very well captured,
M

This is really great Hercules!
Among so many of those houses you choose a single one most representative and framed it with a wonderfully deep blue sky: a combination of colours which works well.
Great visive impact an some many lovely textures and details to offer.
an excellent work,

si ammanta dei colori ..come una bella donna .
Per te aggettivi e note tecniche ...sono superflui .
