Hi Gunnar. All in white. Dream boats must be white. No matter where they come, they attract attention. The MS Germany has anchored so that the travelers get to see something. The view of the mountains around is fantastic. The photo pleases me very well. Regards, Wolfgang.

I``m living far away from any coast and I``m allways fascinated seeing such huge ships!!!!
Perfect placement ,a bit out of the center.From your POV it``s hard to believe this ship took it``s way through the foreground.

Hi Gunnar,

a lot of "german" interest towards our national cruise ferry "MS Deutschand", so to be seen very often here in TV as member ot the series "Traumschiff" ("Dreamship")..

je suis impressionnι par ce bateau qui semble flotter lΰ oω il n'y a pas de profondeur. C'est bien trompeur.
Superbes ces couleurs franches et cette mise au point trθs prιcise.

Hej Gunnar,
Perfect PoV for this shot showing riverflow in the foreground and the cruise ship anchored on a fjord. The place is perfectly surrounded by mountains. Excellent contrast, you have avoided overexposure on the white ship too.

A wonderful shot with a good composition, great rendition of colours and excellent control of light. It will be interesting to see more photos from this famous fjord.

Good evening Gunnar. This has to be one of the most beautiful fjords in Norway, and you have had the best weather to see it. There hardly seems to be room for this cruise ship, and it is precariously near some shallows; but the main waterway is hidden from view. The ship almost, but not quite, dwarfs the grandeur of the mountains and the small settlement on the hills in the background.

I wonder if you were on the trip 'Norway in a Nutshell? I am really envious. We keep intending to do this part of Norway, but when Adrian has time off work, we feel that the UK and the family calls to us - so Norway remains unexplored.

Beautiful work my friend. You have strengthened my resolve to take a trip to this area.

A very unexpected shot - the scenery of the fjord seems a bit at odds with the massive ship. Nice cruise, by the way!

The light on the photo is good - front lit, and illuminating the boat in the dark fjord.

This is a great shot of this ship in the beautiful Fjord. The trees and mountains frame the scene nicely. The babbling stream lead the eye toward the ship nicely. The fine blue sky provides excellent contrast for the scene. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has fine sharpness.

amazing sharpness with the large apperature of F4!
looks almost as if the cruise ship was placed here by photoshop! :)
seems like such a small body of water to hold such a large undercarriage of the ship!

Hi Gunnar,

Beautiful composition with deep greens, blues and greys so typical of "de Fjordar" :-)
The POV is quite intersitng as the flowing water makes the ship look even bigger and imposiing.

Taken a short stroll through your gallery Gunnar, and could not resist returning to this impressive shot: The ferry cruising the most known Fjord seen here with it's grandeur and contrast to green steep cliif and ridges alongside's.

what a light and clarity here! and it is particularly astonishing to see how such a large ship travels along these narrow channels without runnig ashore. a proof about the depths of fjords.
