Photographer's Note
Example of Zulu huts like they still exist in some rural areas. These huts are part of the Zulu cultural "village" at a real life cultural village called Lesedi near the Hartebeespoort Dam in the North West province of South Africa.
Lesedi means "place of light"
It is a popular tourist attraction since live displays are given of the traditions and cultures of four of the ethnic groups in SA namely Zulu, Sotho, Pedi and Xhosa.
The venue also offers accommodation in traditional homesteads and has wonderful dining facilities where a large variety of traditional foods are served and the visitors are entertained on dances by the people from the various tribes who work and live in the village.

Hi Wia,
Nice colors and a sharp photo. I try to imagine a night shot with gas lamps on in these huts..
Well done,
Ray

Hiya Wia, wonderful natural colours, really like the detail and shape of this unique roofing, the framing of the walls brings you into the composition, interesting capture!

Hi Wia (or should I say "sawubona"?)! Great study in textures and colours. I like your composition, too. These places can be hard to photograph, as a decent POV is not always possible.
