A scene from Free State in South Africa near the town Foriesburg. In the background here you can see the natural sculptures which you can see a closer view of in the first photo I posted from Free State,
here. It really is a fascinating landscape, and I found the green tree somehow attractive as a contrast in the barren landscape.

This tree really makes a very nice contrast with the landscape with brown tones, and there are interesting rock formations in the background, everything captured with excellent light and sharpness! Wonderful place and composition!

Detta är en storslagen utsikt över ett ödsligt landskap. Det ensamma trädet (fast egentligen är det väl snarare en liten dunge) blir ganska magnifikt i denna karga och nakna miljö. Dessutom står det gröna väldigt fint mot den gul-bruna vegetationen vi kan se så långt ögat når. Bilden är fint balanserad mellan träden i förgrunden och de märkliga klipporna längre bort. Du har också fångat det intensiva ljuset väldigt bra.

What a beautiful landscape, the yellow and brown fields and the rock formations and cliffs in the background are such an amazing view. The tree in the foreground is well included too, it adds a nice colour contrast indeed.

it sort of has that desert look and feel to it. I've often wondered about visiting this country, but i'm still not sure.
you managed excellent depth here, and its very clear despite the haze in the upper sky. and its cool to see the street in the back too. nice shot. cheers

The view from your previous picture and this lone reminds me the view of the Monument Valley. Fascinating landscape with all these rocks. Interesting tree. Maybe in this tree is the big nest of social weavers. They like such trees.

Fascinating landscape with unexpected contrast. The dark green of the trees in the foreground is remarkable, but looking closer at the large version shows more remarkable green in this region.
