Photographer's Note
The Sine Saloum is a really beautiful and peaceful area near the Petite Cτte, where two rivers meet. Formed by beaches, mangrove swamps, dunes, salt wells and little islands, it's a wonderful place to rest, to watch the many bird species that can se seen in the area or simply explore the area and watch the daily life of the locals.
Near the little village where we stayed, the boys usually go swimming by the end of the day and it seems to be a real moment of joy for all!

What makes this shot for me is the boy apparently standing on his head on the water! I don't know if you intended to catch this decisive moment, or whether it's a fluke. Either way it makes me smile!

I think we all love the boy standing on his head. The water must have been very shallow in that place ;-). The photo has a great atmosphere of childish joy. A very nice snapshot.

I'm not using carefree, for that is a luxury for the very few... even amongst children.

The kid on left side was just about to dip his head on the water, a precise timing that was immaculately collected.
Kids know how to have fun, especially on poor countries - all they have is their surrounding natural environment.

A superb decisive moment shot apparently capturing the boy at left doing a headstand on the water! Good daily life scene here too with the boys cooling off on a hot day. Is there any other kind of day in coastal Senegal! Beautiful color, reflections and sharpness. Tfs.
