Lago Azul (Blue Lagoon) near Guadelupe on the island Sao Tome is an excellent snorkelling area.
On the top of the cliff in the background is a 7m high lighthouse built by the Portuguese Navy in 1997.

Hello Achim,
We do not get many pictures on TE from Sao Tome and Principe, so this is most interesting. The point of view is excellent allowing us to set this beautiful lagoon in context. Pleasing warm light and colours and very good sharpness.

Hi Achim,
The distance between the lagoon and the horizon is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the lagoon and of its surroundings. The good luminosity is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Achim,
I see on your map that you still have some way to go before you cover it all. West and Central Africa is waiting for you. This looks like a nice but very small beach, but the water looks beautiful and it seems well protected from the waves of the ocean. A friend of mine was here and admitted that there wasn't very much sightseeing to do.

A charming bay and blue lagoon from these little known African islands. The dried brown red grass covered hill contrasts well ahaisnt the blue water and sky to give a pleasing warm cold color contrast. Perhaps a slight rotation to the left? Tfs!
