Photographer's Note

In the town of El Jadida there's an interesting old water cistern, with nice columns and vaults.

The best is that hole thru the ceiling. Depending on weather conditions and the hour, the sun beams get inside and can produce nice light effects.

After a short searching for an angle I caught this particular one. I wasn't able to exactly determine how these reflections were produced by the sun rays, although I guess the shallow water played a role.

ps - Scanned. I post the color version, to keep the authenticity and the old painting feeling; a B&W "moonlight" version is even more mysterious. Tips to improve it are most welcomed.
