Photographer's Note
This was the view from the top of my hotel facing the Western Sahara Desert. These camels take tourists about 3 km into the dunes for an overnight stay returning the next morning. I've cropped the fg which was uninteresting and in a high key tone. Not overexposed, but bright enough to be competing with the bg. There are several birds perched on the watchtower at right.

Hi Chris,
The wideness of the area is giving depth to the composition. I like the way that you have divided the scene, the sky the sand dunes and the caravan. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Chris. You were lucky to see an actual caravan before the tourists are mounted on the camels. There is a feel of authenticity here. Great exposure and the cropping suits the landscape. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Chris,
I go there in a few weeks and I hope I will have the same good conditions you had. The dunes in the background are very beautiful. I like too the contrast between the wild dunes and the civilization with the walls in the foreground. Good sharpness.
Have a nice week end,
Olivier

Hello Chris,
Your crop has given this a very panoramic appearance which works in complete harmony with the f/g wall and the long line of camels. What a view to have from your window!
The light and shadows are creating colour tones, revealing the undulations of the dunes.
A really attractive shot and one which I have enjoyed perusing.
Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)

Hi Chris,
Always such a pleasure seeing the Sand Dune Images, especially from Morocco. Since I have been there so it is more relatable for me. The line of caravan really give a very impressive mood. It makes me think of the movie Laurence of Arabia. The Panoramic works well. I like the soft texture of the sand with rich colors. When I was here the first night it rained really heavy, the next day, there were flooding in some area and the dune was still kind of wet and compacted. Here I can see the find dust at the top of the dune.

Hola Chris
I can t resist my favorite subject, desert and camels
The crop works well to make a panoramic with, at the back, the very beautiful imposing dunes
Then the caravan going and finally, as a kind of frame the ramparts
Good and fascinating composition
Enjoy the week end

Hello Chris,
a lovely and fascinating glimpse at the desert and its rhythm, a fascinating view framed by the walls and the watch towers. I like very much the depth and clarity of this image. The undulations, the play of light and the golden tones of the dunes are mesmerizing. The presence and movement of the people and their camels is a marvellous addition. It's thrilling to think that this captivating scenery is their daily life setting and they have the keys to its mysteries. You managed the light superbly. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great Sunday,
Ourania
