Marrakech taxi ride

The taxis in Marrakech provide a valuable and cheap service and they also make their unique contribution to the general mayhem of the traffic. The typical light brown small Peugeots and Fiats are everywhere, cutting and honking their way through the medina congestion .
The drivers are generally friendly and very knowledgeable and/or opinionated. In the many trips we made subjects as the nature of the local multi-cultural population, French cars and the death wish of Marrakech moped riders were covered ;-)
The local government recently announced a regulation of the taxi trade to make it safer and predictable, and is talking to the organisation of drivers to develop a set of rules. Those rules will also introduce standard fares. A pity really, it probably will remove much of the charm of the Marrakech taxi experience.

In the note of the previous post I promised to post a night time Djemaa el Fna pic and I added it as a WS. It came out quite all right but I realized in time that the night time square is portrayed many many times in the TE Marrakech portfolio.

The process: I extended my arm out of a rear window, careful not to hit a cyclist or moped in the process, to get a cinematic-type feel and perspective
The PCS3 work flow: I altered the saturation, contrast, curves and levels for the whole pic and some elements separately, using different layers, enhanced the edges, USM-ed, added a frame and resized and did a gentle USM (1,1px, 19%) again.
