Photographer's Note

The Erg Chebbi is a small area of sand dunes near Merzouga, the most classical of all desert images. And you can have a couple of hours on a camel at sunset or dawn to enjoy the incredible colors... if you do NOT go in april as we did! Strong wind (so sand everywhere) and clouds spoiled our dawn in the desert. In this photo I increased contrast to bring out the few color there was, with that terrible light. I must go there again and maybe spend the night in the middle of the desert in a tent! :)

THANKS to all your critiques. This morning I am more awake and I can see your point. Actually when I modified and posted this image (yesterday night at 11 pm) I was a bit tired and in a hurry :P I should remember not to do it again. Anyway, the original image has the camels more to the right, maybe I should not have cut it. And I definitely want to add some sharpness. I want to post the new image as a workshop, maybe tomorrow. Thanks!
