Photographer's Note
The Dedza province houses one of the 2 UNESCO world heritage sites in Malawi. In the Chongoni Rock Art Area contains hundreds of ancient rock paintings. The picture was taken in a village below the Namzeze rock art site. The panel is quite remote and only accessible by quite a long walk. Before we visited the paintings we went first to the closest village in order to see, what the people here think and still know about the paintings and their origins. We must have been something out of the ordinary, cause all villagers gathered around us and some kids were a bit scared about us.
All an all it was a great experience!

Nice daily life picture of the village. I can see that some of the children are scared. Well done.
