Photographer's Note
Hello again , I just came back from another trip. Following photos has been paid for with high price, as I spent there nearly a week in hospital with fever 39-40 degrees C, and suspection of malaria. It was worth every litre of sweat though. Mada-fuc -king-gaskar is the country on top of my list now. Excellent nature, old ways of life in the countryside and the people , mixture of African cool and Asian niceness. Way better then tropical Africa, no racism, no hustling, no macho poses, no aggression. Cheap rum, ganja and actually everything...Mada rules
This is in a small port with no road access on wild Tsiribihina river in the west of country.

good use of fill on the eyes of the main subject and the secondary subject facing inwards..
the hut frame suggests beach and good times.

Beautiful sn faces! They are so kindly smilg at you, at us! They look really good people. You described a place with few elements: a roof and two faces: fantastic.
Madagascar is a place that I wish to visit... but you are not the only one that tells that Madagascar is not dangerous for people but for mosquitos! Did you take malaria pills?

This is a really striking photo! It's fun and bright and beautiful. I really love the composition, with the thatched roof. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but many of your photos have a distinctive look... bold, I guess. I usually dislike fill flash but it's great here.

Amazing shot. I really like the warm colors and the way you framed the scene from a lower perspective also works for me. Great smiles on both your subjects as well. I didn't know that Madagascar is such a cool place to visit...will have to get down there one day. Good work.
