Hi Bertrand,
That acid green certainly jumps out from the screen at me as I opened your image, and what a lovely smile form the little girl as they are caught in action. Love the few leaves of the rice plants in the foreground too kind of framing the shot.

La scène que présente ces deux enfant avec l'un qui prétend se cacher derrière l'autre est trop mignonne. J'adore la couleur de cette herbe, c'est ma couleur préférée. Les longues tiges devant ajoutent de la profondeur.

Great capture of the daily life in Madagascar. But.....the children did not have to work, but yes to play.
Very nicely captured and composed shot from a very good POV.

Un superbe échange avec ce regard que cette petite fille te lance et aussi bien sûr son beau sourire.
Le vert de la rizière est magnifique, j'aime cette composition avec ces deux beaux enfants... mais cela fait mal de les imaginer travaillant ainsi tout au long de la journée.
Nos enfants ne savent pas à quel point ils sont gâtés!

Eclatantes couleurs dans cette image. Je trouve ton cadrage ton coup d'oeil vraiment top !
La saturation du vert des rizière contraste avec merveille avec cet habit rouge.
Les regards sont tournés vers toi, ce qui apporte encore plus d'attrait à cette belle image.

The delicate greens of the rice field makes an excellent backdrop for the charming portrait of two happy children. I like the composition and the placement of the two children. Just a slight pity we cannot see the whole of the girl in the background. Nevertheless, a fine image. Thanks for sharing.

Ce n'est surement pas la 1ère fois que ces enfants participent au dur travail des champs et ici il semble que tu les as agréablement surpris. J'aime la façon dont s'est arrêté l'enfant avec ses petits bras repliés et tenant d'une main les plants prêts à être repiqués. Deux petites bouilles bien sympathiques!

Superbe cliché avec un vert fluo à imprimer la rétine à jamais. Dommage pour les quelques hautes herbes au 1er plan, occultés bien vite par le regard de "ces charmants travailleurs".

Tu tiens là toute la magie de ce pays... des couleurs et des hommes... et puis le riz (vary)
comme colonne vertébrale de l'ile.
Ta photo ajoute à la couleur exeptionnelle la force que je connais bien de ces regards d'enfants de la brousse.
Parfaite image d'un pays hors norme.

Belles couleurs tres franches!
Composition tres agreable.
Bon je pourrais regretter les qq petites herbes sur le bas, mais tu as du faire comme tu as pu. Toutefois un super souvenir je pense.

Qd j'etais la-bas, j'avais un argentique et plein de Velvia, ce qui m'a valu pas mal de dechets, mais beaucoup de souvenirs.

Ca faisait longtemps qu'on n'avait pas eu le plaisir d'admirer un de tes portraits d'enfants ! Ici j'aime beaucoup le cadrage bien équilibré, la superbe couleur de l'herbe et l'expression de cette petite fille. Deux petits reproches : les quelques brins d'herbe au premier plan qui perturbent un peu la lecture, et le fait que le deuxième personnage soit en partie masqué.

I like your shallow DOF here, Bertrand--it makes it seem like these children are in an infinite sea of bright green. It's nice how one looks out a bit shyly from behind the other, and it's nice of them to wear red, too. The resulting color scheme is perfect. But it's a shame these children are not in school.
