Photographer's Note
View from the edge of the great Rift Valley about 80km from Nairobi. To the right you see Mt. Longonot (2770m) and in the distance the opposite side or the western edge is visible. It's approx. 70km from this viewpoint... The depth of the rift here is about 700m below the shoulder at 1600m. The viewpoint is at ~ 2300m!
Concerning the picture I can say that it is difficult to shoot against the sun. I like the result, though. Sky turns out to be really dramatic;)
