Again from the Karo tribe on the bank of the Omo River, this woman is applying face paint in her hut.
Karo are a small tribe living on the banks of the Omo river. The make a living with subsistence agriculture, augmented with fishing, especially in hard time. Like several of the tribes in that region body painting is common.

A superb head and shoulders portrait with great use of a shallow dof. Perfect sharpness where it counts most around the eye(s) and face, with excellent skin textures. Tfs!

Hello Steve,
I love these close-up shots which seem to almost put us in touch with the figures.
The eyes take precedence and then the activity of painting.
I think I would have have just selectively sharpened the eyes and used the dodge tool on highlight.
