Photographer's Note
United Nations patrol vehicle never fails to attrect attention of the people, specially from the children. They wave and cheer as our patrol drives by through remote villages. A buffer zone, named the Zone of Confidence, divies this country from rebel held north and the govt controled south. I found this small boy hiding behind his sister, curious yet shy. His eyes had the most wonderful look, the look of childhood innocence and the hunger to know everthing in the world.
Let me know how it came about.

Selim,
Beutiful Image, excellent composition. The hint of a smile from the face of the girl at the front makes this image - it kind of says (all is OK despite my brother).
I would just recommend sharpenning this image. My eyes went straight to the little boy's LEFT eye (and it's a bit blurry).
Anyway, I love the shot. Well done.

Good use of selective depth of focus to capture that wonderful expression. It really looks very innocent. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hi, nice close-up, I love the cropping and the depth of field! The reflection in the eyes really makes this a priceless photo. Only problem is the grain on the kid in front; I would give it a bit of blurring or maybe run NeatImage on it.
Thanks for sharing!

Selim,
The bokeh with eyes!...
The way you have composed is superb, tapering of the sharpness problem...
Well done.
Cheers,
Prem.

Hi Selim,
Superb capture of human emotion. I like your composition; the tight framing really helps bring out the feeling of shyness. Very well done, thanks for sharing!
