Hi Christine,
The bridge does not look very safe, but it is probably stronger than it looks. This is a good view of the bridge, but the photo is overexposed, with the bright parts showing as white. You could improve it in Photoshop, or some other image editing software, by darkening the whole photo, or making the shadows darker.
