Ian’s remark (Ifege) about the red color now makes me choose this photo.
holding, chainsaw, sawdust, tree, earth, helmet... everything is red or orange at least!
This tree is cut for a bridge rehabilitation site; see photos in WS
I am not exactly sure of the commune, we were about 3 hours of track south of Mindourou, in the middle of the forest.

Hello Christine, What a surprise to see the pictures from Cameroon in your gallery. Excellent miniseries of three photo showing the works with the big trees. Spectacular composition with a lot of red.

I understand more now - the red laterite dust! Looks like it coats everything.
A good dramatic photo of the timber cutter at work and the "bridge" construction is very interesting.

Une image dynamique avec ce bucheron au travail, belle dominante rouge et orange, c'est bien pris en pleine action et avec la photo on ιvite le bruit que l'on imagine pas trθs mιlodieux.
