I like what you have done here. The B&W accentuates the pattern of the dunes really well and creates a spooky "out of this world" atmosphere. A pleasing composition.

I must admit I never thought I find a b/w version of a desert shot beautiful, so I guess this is the exception that proves the rule :) amazing textures and shapes, I agree that in this particular shot the colour would distract the attention from these patterns. I also like the black sky, I've always felt that there's something from outer space in the deserts. great shot and presentation.

Wow, this is a very striking image! The stark pattern of the ripples on the dune is incredible, like a piece of abstract art or something. Black & white works well with this too, really emphasizing the shape and the texture. Superb!

Hello, Patrick--
Nice work here, very textural and graphic. The exposure is great, holding detail in the highlights and letting the upper left fade to black with the sky. Is the black a property of a polarized very blue sky, was there some post-processing involved, or some other option that i may be missing? Regardless, leading into the white triangle placed hardly against the sky is very powerful.

Hello,
I really admire your creativity in this shot. While everyone captures the orange and blue of the desert, it takes courage to capture the desert in B&W. In the end, your creativity has been rewarded by a great effect that resembles an optical illusion with fuzzy lines.

In general i prefer color pictures for landscape, but this is an exception, as the B&W adds dramaticity to the scene. Great !

Merci pour cette magnifique vision presque irrιelle, toute en zιbrures et ιclaircie par la dune du fond. Cela me ferait presque penser ΰ une macro de plaque de bois gravιe.

a classic black and white image of a classic subject but it never fails to make an impression on me and this is one that I have feasted on and come away full........very beautuful and very nicely shot and processed to bring out the sensous curves and ripples in maximum contrast....
