Another day of walk in the middle of the Sahara, in the Tadrart region.
I stop for a while, to see what we have left behind, to be sure I haven't missed anything.
Some other trekkers are behind me. I photograph them with this beautiful landscape in the background.

Very nice image, Emmanuelle! This is greatly oversharpened--see the little visible lines around everything? But the composition is excellent, and the idea is really nice.

Dessert life is tough but man has already conquered Mt Everest. Moon is far away but Discovery has already landed on the Mars.
Will to do and discover something new--human life.

Quite an amazing landscape almost as if on mars if it were not for the "human" touch within.You have caught the colour of the sand very well and I like the shape of the dune and its shadow at back.

Photos of the desert attract me very much and you a lot of them, which is great. Beautiful one in here, with a good inclusion of the other treckers. I love those gracious shapes of the dunes and the game of shades on them. A fascinating landscape!

Ben on sent que ces deux trekkers commencent a peiner, encore une jolie vue bien cadree de cet univers si particulier avec le contraste de couleurs chaud/froid et le mention speciale pour les courbes de la dune, effectivement un peu sharpenise mais bon, pas si grave.

Encore une belle image du dιsert! ici on sent les trekkers terrassιs par la chaleur. Vu le manque d'ombres on ne doit pas κtre bien loin du milieu de journιe. C'est bien cadrι et les couleurs sont belles. Il y a jsute quelques artefacts ΰ la limite du ciel et du sable ΰ cause de la compression, mais rien de bien grave.

Edit: Autant pour moi, je viens de lire ta rιponse ΰ Urs et je vois qu'il ne faisait pas chaud! LOL!! Pourtant, c'est bien l'impression que l'on ressent en regardant cette image. :o)
