Great macondo 2011-04-05 3:26

Hi Klaudio.
These red gates make superb subjects, especially in this kind of light. Very gentle lighting and shadow, subtle colour tones, and lovely partial reflection straddling the pebbly shoreline. It's interesting that your photos of many Japanese scenes tend to resemble delicate Japanese art.

Default To macondo: Thanks

Thanks Andrew for such a flattering comparison. It is funny that you have pointed this out as I did have some woodblock prints in mind as i composed some images. i shall include an example in photoshop when i post my favourite shot of deer, torii and stone lanterns.
By the way, are you planning to meet Francesco in May when he comes to Melbourne?
Also, what about an autumn drive to some of the vineyards, time permitting?
