Great Cretense 2010-11-13 3:20

Merhaba Erdem!

Lakes is one of my favourite subjects! So, here we have a beautiful landscape photography and a great daily life scene, at the same time! the "central" composition works very well in this case, great framing without any "unnessecary" stuff. Great light management and beautiful colours! There is some "grain" there, despite the use of Neat image, but it's not disturbing at all!

Best regards,
Hercules

Dear Hercules,

Thank you very much for your critique. I had grain problems with most of scanned-slides, but I agree with you, sometimes grains add to the charm of the picture.

My real motive in responding is related to a post I saw a few minutes ago, announcing your departure from TE.

We don't know each other much, but as far as I could tell from many pictures of you I saw to date, the popularity you have earned in this site, that would be a pity for the TE community to lose a member like you. Same for Karine, Marie, Marine and Diane. Point.

Although I'm new at TE, I have experienced similar problems at PhotoSIG, which is also an excellent platform. That is, sites like this are prone to create problems between the members and the site administrators, and leaving or expulsion should be the last recourse, I believe.

Take good care of yourself and thank you for your contribution in this site, whatever your final decision will be.

With friendship,

Erdem
