Great Longroute 2009-11-21 11:43

In your gallery it's difficult to find a photo which does not deserve to be voted... I chose this one because not only is a fine photo but it's a theme which I have covered (Here) and which I like particularly. I was striken by two things: the salt evaporating ponds (saline) in Gruissan have the same shape than the ones here and they have been closed after 2000 year exactley like here!!!
I like the way you framed the pond and the lovely pink colour of the water (that also our saline have but only in certain periods of the year) and the fine wooded hill in the bg. It must be an interesting place to visit. I like also the fine light and the very good clarity of the photo.
Best compliments,
Donato

Default To Longroute: About Salines

Thank's for your kind visit.
It's possible to visit also the salines of Camargue near the Rhτne river; it's a bigger place.
Your pictures of the same subject are very interesting and I shall comment it very soon.
Best regards.
