Welcome to TE! You had much better weather in Nurenberg than I did!
This is a well composed shot placing the building off center and using the river to lead the eye past your main subject. The lighting is very strong here and I believe that a polarizing filter would have eliminated the glare and made the colors more rich. Keep posting and listen to the criticism you receive, it will make you a better photographer. I know it has helped me tremendously!

As I'm starting without a SLR (got a small Sony DSC T2) I've to figure out which possibilities I got with my cam, an as you said, criticism is very useful.
