Great marknunnerley 2008-03-15 6:53

Said it before Harry and I will say it again. The lighting you get on these shots is superb. One question. What do you mean on pp for clarify?
Do they look a lot better b&w than the colour version as well? That's another question ;D
Have a good weekend.

They do look a lot better in B+W than color, you have to remember that i just snap away, and then sometimes the camera catches something decent:)
When it is only half decent, I use a tool in PSP called clarify, I can't really say exactly what it does, but it some thing with contrast/brightness/sharpness, that also changes the light a bit.

I stopped uploading the color versions in WS, cause im not really sure how many members bother looking at them, but if you go back and have a look at some of the first ones (follow the link to the My B+W theme, or have a look at my WS) then there is quite a few colored versions uploaded as WS.

Thanks for your interest, But you really don't need to cheat like that, your pictures are in another league.

Thanks Harry. It's not cheating ;D In the darkroom you can do something known as solarisation, something that the very famous photographer Man Ray used. Google him and you will see what I mean, stronger than what you have but similar in style. No kidding though, it really is fantastic light. Will check out your colour versions as well. Thanks for your kind comments Harry, not sure I deserve them although I do try.
