Ola' Francisco,
Another thing I've learned from you. The WS adds important detail to the post. You're a great photojournaist. :-)
Regards, Pat

Default To plimrn: Military environmental concern?

Hi Pat
You didn't (nobody didn't yest) answer the question on the post title. In my opinion it's a little contradictory that the military have environmental concern. While they say "Your Marine Corps Helping Keep America's Air Clean", do they care about the air in the countries they drop the bombs?
So, I guess this car in the Earth Day is mostly a piece of propaganda, You see, we even care about America's air.
By the other hand, it's a hint that the US military they do care about future fuel problems, as oil becomes too expensive. If something goes wrong with oil production, they are already preparing alternatives.
Anyway, as the military exists, it's better they use environmentally clean vehicles, to keep America's and Earth's air cleaner.

You're absolutely right in your comments; I didn't see your question. You're an amazing man; I've never known any military person to question authority (and everything) like you do - except for Larry of course. There's a new PBS video about GIs for Peace movement in 68-69. Larry was in the military then and so successfully questioned the military presence in Vietnam than they didn't send him but didn't punish him either. I'd been thinking about it because Annelise just interviewed us about it for a school project. P
