Hey Sarika,
Welcome to TE! good start!
His expressions have been well captured, and that means 'good timing'!
I've done a little workshop on your image:
1) cropped your image to focus on the man's expression
2) Light image enhancement!

Hi Nivas,
I am very glad that u took this initiative and showed me a better way to look at this pic. Nice learning for me.... Can u tell me in a bit detail how u have enhanced the features.......have u sharpened them...or used curves in photoshop to show contrast..... Regards, Sarika |

Hi Sarika,
When i looked at the image more closely, i saw that there were actually alot of features on the man's face (wrinkle lines, eyebrows, teeth)... since most of these were light, i thought that the image would be more powerful if these features are exposed. Hence, I first smoothed the image, and then reapplied Light Sharpening. This brought out the man's features better. Then I reduced the brightness a bit to help the contrast. After that I cropped the image as required. Hope this helps. Rgds / Nivas |
