We had an insert on the news the other day about this spectacular fireworks display. Very nice to see it here on TE as well. They said that all the fireworks was white symbolizing peace, is that true? A bit of a note will be nice next time. But this is a very good photo of this night seen. Good timing as well. Very nicely done.

To Patat: Bastille Fireworks
Thanks for your comment. It's interesting how news gets reported sometimes. My understanding was that the fireworks were supposed to be related to the Olympics and, as such, there were multi-coloured fireworks. The main difference this year compared with others was a live orchestra underneath the Eiffel Tower with co-ordinated music and fireworks. You can just see them as the illuminated patch beneath the Eiffel Tower. I have added some text now to the photo, thanks for the suggestion.
