Hi
You don't need to apologise for your ignorance as we're all here to learn form each other on TE! The English flag is typically a red cross on a white background while the British or Union flag is composed of three - England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The Scottish flag has blue background with a white X while Ireland is represented by a red X on a white background. About the subject matter, I used a English flag in the background to symbolise the lack of celebration surrounding St George's Day. Also, I couldn't find any celebrations in my local area so no people shots unfortunately. Thanks for your critque. Trish |
