Great john_c 2005-06-02 0:35

Hi Mr. Wes. All three shots are good for different reasons. I notice on this one you have sharpened perhaps a little more than the others. Of the three, I prefer this as the compromise view that brings in the surrounding scenery while still portraying the majesty and force of the falls. It would be interesting to see how, say, a Velvia 50 slide would compare to this high quality digital take. In any event this is very well composed with just the right amount of light. Well captured.

Default To john_c: Thank you

Hi John,
Thank you very much for your clear analysis of the photo. You are right about the process. I have set my camera to unsaturated and unshaped setting. I have done saturation and sharpening in PP.
I really appreciate your critiques and comments.
Regards.
Wes
