Well here is that rock Inukshuk that is now the 2010 olympic symbol. Hmm not my first choice by a long shot. And how much do they pay these artists to come up with such ideas. the olympics are not way up north they are in Vancouver. Hmmm
Sugestion on ISO 200. I have tried it in evening scenes and shot ISO 100 as well. Guess which one is sharper? Yes 100 ISO. Nice soft colors in this. I have the same camera and 50mm lens you have in this shot. You must have stood guite a ways back to catch this. Am I right? I like the sunset. The rock Inukshuk? Its interesting...but not for the olympic logo.

Set a slowish shutter speed, then follow the moving object with the camera. You need a steady hand. Expect about 1 in 10 to work out if you're lucky. I've only started trying this in digital, too expensive with film.
