Great holmertz 2021-01-01 0:50

Hello Malgo,
A nice comparison between the unevenly shaped, large green meadows outside Dublin and the smaller fields of different colours near Warsaw. Maybe next week you can show us the brown areas near Hurghada (or wherever you are going). ;-)
The WS you promised never materialized.
Happy New Year and safe travels.
Gert
PS I find it rather insulting to claim that a moderator who just followed the TOS has not a bit of empathy and human feelings. :-(

Talking To holmertz: Gott Nytt Εr!

Hi Gert, Thank you very much for your kind words.
I added two Workshops.
Not Hurghada - I was there many years ago. I hope for interesting pictures. (you were there) but I am a bit nervous about how it will be tomorrow.
Insulting? The whole world has changed but the mod is like many years ago. The intention of the rules should count. It is the mildest what I think.
Happy New Year

MAlgo

Hello Malgo,

Szczęśliwego Nowego Roku to you too.

You said before that I had not been to where you are going now, and where the water is warm enough for swimming, and it's not as far away as the Maldives.

But I can't understand why you think the members who break the rules are always right, and the moderators are always wrong. It's not that the TOS were written in the 19th century. They are still quite relevant for keeping TE different from FB or Instagram or similar sites. And words like "no human feeling or no empathy" would be proper for a serial killer or a child molester, not for a moderator of a hobby site following the rules. As a former journalist and writer I am anxious to respect the nuances of words.

Best wishes,
Gert

I think I know now where you are going. Don't forget the spice safari. It was fun. ;-)
