Hello Conrad,
The principle is a very good one, merging layers, but in this case, I cannot see too much blur on the boat some on the reflections perhaps. What I like in this one is not the blur but the atmosphere it spreads when you look at it. The pastel colors and the passing boat are great assets.

I am further inspired by your evident desire to travel and photograph the world. I appreciate your insight into this photograph. I saw the thumbnail to the whirling dervishes on your website... very fluid looking photograph with an excellent POV - similar to the Varanasi burning ghat image (which I do like as it takes me back). best wishes, Conrad
