Hi Biswaroop
An action image that documents and addresses an interesting issue, strangely my own experience must differ from most ones, when I visited India last november I didn't have real issues with beggars, apart from a few people on markets... Mostly people who came to me wanted to exchange with the foreigner and I had very interesting conversations with people, especially in Jaisalmer.
Have a nice day JY

Default To bmukherjee: Thanks

Thanks for your comments. Many parts of Himachal Pradesh is still less known. Most of the tourists complete their visit parching in Shimla - Kulu - Manali and Rothang Pass. Now the door of beautiful Kinnar is open. Please visit Himachal and meet the beautiful people and nature.

Hi Partha,

Yes, definitely true. This is a minor point, but you should also add some note in you photo about the preservation of nature. After all, we don't want everyone to visit such beautiful places and dirty them up. I feel we need to contain the ganja/bhang hippies to their own locales. I'm scared to think what all will enter through that 'open door' of kinnar.

No disrespect, but I honestly think that as photographers, we shouldn't really advertise the places we go to. Rather, we should provide information about the place and the conservation required. Of course, if some people do want to go as a result of the photography, that's fine. But the motive should be conservation, not party hooliganism.
