The email/profile updating issue is resolved

Hello everyone,

As of this morning, the ability to update user email addresses (and other profile info), which had been a technical problem on the site for a while, is working again. In addition, there is no difficulty in adding a yahoo or gmail address.

If you see this crop up again, please alert me!

We are still working on the points meter, but getting close to a resolution.

I had thought the problems regarding the points system had finally been resolved yesterday (November 9), but I note this morning that there are still problems. I have 14 dark green smilies allocated to my picture St Helens Church, Tarporley but only 14 points in total instead of 28. I know that TE is not supposed to be all about points but there are some of us who think that the points system is a quick and easy way of assessing the success or otherwise of a particular post.

Now, this morning Nov 10, the "clicks" counter on the photos is not working. Hits are not compiled.
