Hello Roland,
It's a very nice view from Galle. It's a pretty place and the colours are pleasant. I must have stood in exactly the same place 27 years ago, but looking at my scanned old photo it seems everything has received a face-lift since then. If you don't mind I take the liberty of adding my photo as a workshop. Being a scan it is of course of a much lower quality.

thanks for showing the same buildings 27 years earlier. It is exactly the same point of view. It seems they used a lot of white paint since then. Sri Lanka is a clean country. They try to reduce garbage espacially plastic. I was surprised about the good infrastructure. Less potholes than in Germany. Kind regards, Roland
