Hello Gert, Good quality for the half-century-old picture. Interesting composition. It looks different now. First of all, there is no street with cars but there are still many cabs. Also, there is no such low fence. I will try to find a similar view in my archive.
I found Esfahan to be the most interesting Iranian city and I visited some. But Shiraz is also charming.

Thank you Malgo,
The changes you mention sound like fairly small details. The Google view shows this place much as I remember it. You should post photos from wherever you like yourself, but if you refer to Shiraz in the PS I was surprised that you hardly posted any street photos. I have seen pictures of the city on TE earlier and it looked very interesting. Maybe even charming. Have a nice weekend. Gert

Hi Gert,
It has been my dream to see the city of Hafez and Persepolis for more than forty years but when finally I went there I posted 8 photos from both places. Why? I didn't know what to choose and I visited many other interesting places as well. And I found Shiraz really charming, maybe more than Esfahan. Persepolis is magnificent. Maybe I will find something, but when? Have a nice day MAlgo
