I really like vthe framing and the texture in the walls and leading of the windows.The exposure is also really good to catch the man in the slightly darkened room.I would thogh have preferred him to be looking out of the window rather than into the room.

Hi Nigel,
I appreciate your opinion on this shot and thanks for expressing it! However, I wouldn't want the priest to be looking out of the window as in this case, the point of my shot would be lost. Why? The image is called "7 Minutes Before The Service" and is about preparation (that includes concentration/focusing) - if you take a better look inside the darkened room, you will see there's a clock on the wall showing 10:23, meaning there's no much time left for him to do what needs doing in these short moments before the mass begins. Therefore, I though, it would be less natural for the reverend to be seen looking out of the window - as opposed to looking in the Bible, ie.) Do you see where I'm coming from? Robi
