Hello Jean,
The note slipped away somewhere, but this abbey must have faced the same destiny as most others in the 1540's. We can see that it must have been a magnificent place, and the ruins are still impressive. Too bad you were there on a day of rather miserable weather.

Yes, those lines were tram tracks, probably old but still in use in 1991. Most probably the trams are still running along this street.
