Great SnapRJW 2012-10-25 22:47

Hi Steve - I was having a look through your Oregon gallery, specifically to see if you had any redwood shots. I love those huge trees and it is a dream of mine to see them with my own eyes. Anyway, I couldn't find any but I did see many shot of these incredible hills. They are so beautiful and another good reason to visit! I really can't pick out the best shot, there are so many. I've gone for this one because of the excellent definition and colour contrasts. Beautiful! Warm regards rosemary

Default To SnapRJW: Painted Hills, john Day Fossil Beds, and Redwoods

Hello Rosemary,
Thanks for the visit, and if you ever do visit the Northwest write me an Email and possibly we can meet at the Portland airport, PDX, and I can take youi to the John Day and wherever you want to go in the Northwest. The last time I went to California it was to Mt. Shasta and to the Castle Crags State Park to photograph, I wanted to go to the Redwoods to add pics for my tour guide service that includes the Redwoods and trails thereof, however I ended up beginning at Crater Lake, and driving many miles around Mt. Shasta and the Crags.
