Great Angshu 2011-02-17 5:05

Dear Biswaroop
The colour tones are beautiful, especially how the gradation in the sky has been captured. But the real softness in the FG bothers me as a viewer...I know you gave a reason for that! I would have thought if you rather focussed on one of the rocks in the FG, this might have come out differently...better or not that could of course be debated! And I do miss some strong focal point here. Full marks though for the experiment & the colours!
Best Wishes
Angshuman

Default To Angshu: Rocks and focus

Apologies for my late reply!

Thanks a lot for you comment! I agree - the photograph was more of an experiment than a quest for perfection. Yes -it would have been better to focus on the rocks... but then it was so dark, i could barely see the foreground. Ii did intend the sticks to be a sort of focal point - but of course, it's not like a bird or something less abstract.

thanks a lot!
