Très mauvaise idée qui me fera fuir TE comme j'ai déjà fui d'autres sites pour la même raison. La galerie va être "envahie" par les images de ceux qui payent....on a déjà tant de mal à voir toutes les photos postées sur le site à raison d'une par jour par membre. TE y perdra son âme!

I agree. One per day is more than enough if we are all going to have time to be effective contributors too. And of course contribution isn't just about posting pictures. It's about offering well considered critiques, workshops and adding to forum debates. I also think it will spoil the pleasure of browsing to see so many pictures posted at the same time. The scale of posts would mean that not only a photographer's best work will be posted but also-rans too. I really wouldn't be bothered to have to wade through the dross. Paying members will resort to picture dumping, just like on flickr.Do we really want to see total rubbish dumped on here?
And as for paying, well there are always other sites to chose from if we have to pay. I have a site in mind, whose members are friendly and helpful. The site allows up to 100 posts before charging and although to date I have not exceeded this, I may do so in the future if TE changes. But I would regret this and miss some members who have become friends. But then we could all agree to migrate to an agreed alternative and so continue the tradition of TE elswhere.I am just about to check facebook to see what facebook TE members are saying.

If we have to pay, I will leave.
I will try to be in contact with my favorites.
Paying to see more pictures, to print more photos. I spent 2 to 3 hours a day to make comments, participate to forums, and I don't want to spend more time.
I know that I won't change IB thoughts, but I wanted to say it's not a good wish for this new year.

If you want to get more money with TE you can also do the following :
- You pay platinium and you can post as pictures as you want
- You pay gold and you can only post 10 pictures a day
- You pay Silver = 5 pictures.
And put more and more advert ...

Then you will loose most of the actual people.

I totally agree with Bev. If a member contributes thoroughly according to the original advice, one photo per day is more than enough!
And there is something else: It's the accompanying note!
Rather than allow more photos per day, I would have made the note compulsory, like it is when posting a WS or additional photo!
No matter how good the photo is, it's so frustrating not to know what it is about!

I agree with out about notes being made compulsory. It's a rare image indeed which doesn't benefit from explanatory notes.
