It's been a great year on TE, with so many great photos that it's actually hard to narrow the choice down. I can think of some photos that really stand out in my opinion. My runner-ups are both absolutely extraordinary photos: beautiful, inspiring, profound. They make you want to grab your camera and go out and shoot right away, they are that good. Please do yourself a big favour and take a look at these:
