I'd like to take my hat off to French for a fine performance last night, and also for giving us a grand semi-final for next week (and also to England, who played well).
As for me, I'm still a bit pissed off about losing to Fiji last week... |

Well if we are exchanging sports information, maybe we could go on to exchanging recipes and knitting patterns.etc. Does anybody have a good recipe for Coq au vin?

Would you jump into the water if any one else did ? If there was a forum about the football cup, I think this is not valuable here neither...

I don't know if it's the purpose of this forum or not to post such messages, but I have the feeling that it becomes more and more difficult to communicate freely in this forum. TE's moral police is everywhere!
I think that Will's message was very fair and friendly (even if I really don't care about rugby!) so thanks for it! And why not, after all, posting some recipes for good cooking? So here are some tips to succeed in preparing a very good dish from southern France: http://www.marmiton.org/recettes/recette.cfm?num_recette=12736 And sorry for those who don't like fish, or olive oil. And for those who always complain about everything: here is a new topic for you!!! All the best. LB. |

Oh! The Cassoulet of the Perigord! now your talking! What memories I have of that dish when I was young.I could manage Coq au Vin here but Cassoulet is out; we can't buy fois gras in Bangkok. However, if we ever run out of recipes we could always discuss photography.

Thanks, Will. Quite a surprise. I will try a place where to watch the semi...Free! (4 years ago sport pubs charged 20$!!!) against the english. It was fun reading the news from New Zealand sites last night. especially how they were going to trunce us, pre-match talk.
the relation to TE, gentlemen, how come you missed it, but it's points of course, points, points, points. 20-18 exactly, and a big gallic smyley! |
