What does HDR means and what is the purpose of it?

HDR = High Dynamic Range imaging

Hi Marcio

HDR means High dynamic range. You blend seperatly exposed shots together to get a single shot which covers the whole dynamic range.
Im not that great at explaining the science of it but the software i use is Photomatix
