Great richwm 2007-04-26 14:59

Hi Phil,

Good, exposure and nice lighting here to capture this busy intersection. Regarding what you wrote in your note about trying to find an original angle to shoot this much photographed location. Well, I think your location for this photograph is excellent but in my opinion I think you could improve the photo and give it a completely different 'look' by drastically cropping about the top 3/4 of the photo. Still like this version but if I'm honest I don't think the composition is really all that great and, photographically, the interesting stuff is all at the bottom.

Have a look at my workshop image and see what you think. Just an idea and you could post it as a large, panoramic version too to make it even more dramatic!

Regards,

Rich

PS: Are you a Boro fan? Jonathan Woodgate was signed for £7m today. Good buy if he stays injury free!

Default To richwm: Thanks

I think I do like your cropped panoramic more. I've never thought about "stretching" an image in that way. Yes I am a Boro fan and I'm very, very happy about the capture of Woodgate. Can't believe he signed. In this day and age of money and agents ruining the game it is nice to see a bit of loyalty to the club that he supported as a boy and gave him a second chance. Great news!

PHIL
